How to Use the Sleep Calculator
1. Choose Your Goal:

“Wake at → suggest bedtimes”: Select this if you know when you need to wake up and want to find the best times to go to sleep.

“Sleep at → suggest wake times”: Choose this if you know when you’re going to bed and want to see when you should ideally wake-up.
2. Enter Your Time and Preferences:

Time Input: Use the time selector to enter your desired wake-up time or bedtime, depending on the goal you chose in Step 1.

Time to fall asleep: Use the slider to set how long you typically take to fall asleep. This time is automatically added to the calculation to ensure accuracy.

Sleeper type: Select your sleeper type to fine-tune the results. A normal sleep cycle is about 90 minutes, while light sleepers have slightly shorter cycles and heavy sleepers have longer ones.

Show cycles: Choose how many sleep cycles you want to see results for. Adults generally feel best after 4 to 6 cycles (which is about 6 to 9.5 hours of sleep).
3. Get Your Results:

Click the “Calculate” button to get your results.

The calculator will show you a list of optimal times to wake up or go to bed, based on your settings. The “sweet spot” will be highlighted as a recommendation.
